I just wanted my sisters to know the things I've heard the Friendly Hero say since we left.
1. "I go Grandma's House and see Aunt C., Aunt A., Aunt L., Aunt K., Uncle M., Grandma and Grandpa."
2. "Like a Cheese Stick."
and the best for last:
3. "Fist Pump!" --- He even had the action going too.

Things I've learned from a 2 year old.
Yesterday I learned a few life lessons, from my two year old and his friend:
1. Don't leave your two year old and their best friend unsupervised.
2. Weather tape is awesome because it pulls away from doors.
3. Bug Spray removes varnish from tables.
4. I learned how to revarnish a table.
5. It's just a table. I decided long ago to have kids instead of museum quality furniture. And we got a sturdy enough table that it can handle lots of revarnishing
6. Friends are there to help out. Friendly Hero's friend helped him explore the world. I have a friend who loaned us a sander, another friend who loaned us their leftover varnish, another friend who loaned us another table, another friend who gave me lots of sympathy.
7. No two year olds were harmed--by bug spray or by their mothers. Time out is instigated to save them from themselves and their mothers.
8. A little bit of sympathy can go a long ways.
9. If you are going to revarnish a nice wooden table out of necessity, it will rain. It's a good thing we have a tarp to protect our table as it is outside because it's smelly.

Taking Pictures of Best Friends
Is it possible to take pictures of 3 two year olds? I tried it out. These are the Friendly Hero's best friends.
Not everyone looking at the camera, but too cute to pass up.
Things got a little blurry.
Then there were two.
Made it back to two and a blur.
And then success!
I took about thirty pictures in two minutes. And got these.

Overheard at the Hero Home
Some odd things have been heard at our home the past few days. It's been really hot, so our dear neighbors the F* Family, (FF) have been coming over every afternoon. They come over in mass, all four kids, the youngest (EFF) being FH's best friend. The kids come over and tell us the funniest things. Also, S* Friendly Hero's other best friend is moving. I have watched him now every afternoon this week as his mom packs. We love having him come over, but his presence makes 3 two year olds at the house. It gets crazy and odd things are heard:
FF1(an eight year old girl): We came over to your house and your car was there and you weren't. My Mom was really mad that she couldn't play with your Legos.
FF3(four year old boy): I CAN HEAR THEM! They're inside but not answering the DOOR! (I was feeding PH)
FF2(6 year old boy): There is a TODDLER in my way? Why is there always a toddler in my way?
They really love the Peaceful Hero, we all laugh that the kids are baby hungry:
FF1: Peaceful Hero needs me! He loves me. I can't put him down.
FF2: I got Peaceful Hero to cry quieter by giving him a cheerio.
We watched a friend about a week or so ago, and he pooped in his underwear.
FH: I Poop in Underwear.
MH: Do you need to use the Potty?
FH: Yeah.
MH: Then say, "I need to use the potty."
FH: "I Use Potty!"
FH hasn't yet pooped in his underwear....he just uses that phrase to alert us to his impending potty use....we're trying to stop it.
This is said at random times multiple times a day.
FH: Buzz LightYEAR catch TRAIN!
S* is getting into our pantry shelves, which are right next to our kitchen table.
MH: S* stay off those shelves, you don't get to eat that food. If you're hungry, there are cheerios on the floor. Eat those instead. (I look at my neighbor who is at our house with her 4 children) There are cheerios on the floor because I need to vacuum today. I put them there so they'll drive me crazy and I'll vacuum. If they all get eaten I'll vacuum tomorrow.
After letting the 3 toddlers take turns drinking from the same light blue cup (I rinsed it out between uses).
MH: We don't have any more clean cups, so they're all using the same cup.
FF Mom: Oh, to only have two kids and a larger dishwasher. You do run out of cups then.
MH: Actually, our dishwasher is clean, but I don't dare open it up with this many toddlers to help.
I was really on a roll today. It's really no wonder why some students would pay attention in my class to see what weird/dumb/odd things I would do that day. I wonder what tomorrow holds for me.
And I find this in Peaceful Hero's crib if I am ever 10 seconds too slow to coming and getting him up as he cries. I think it's pretty cute.
P.S. This shirt is the Friendly Hero's favorite shirt.
